Inspired by the Florentine traditional vineyards, Italy

Vintage Woman

The artwork “Vintage Woman” by Caser Paredo is a beautiful and evocative depiction of the traditional vineyards of Florence, Italy.

The piece captures the image of a vintage woman in a field of grapes, surrounded by the lush greenery of the Tuscan countryside. The woman is depicted in traditional dress, with a headscarf and apron, and is shown engaged in the task of harvesting grapes, a task that would have been familiar to generations of Tuscan women. The rich and warm colors, combined with the artist’s masterful use of light and shadow, give the piece a sense of depth and movement that draws the viewer into the landscape. The details of the landscape, the woman’s dress, and the play of light and shadow are rendered with great skill and precision, evoking the traditional culture and beauty of Tuscany.

Overall, “Vintage Woman” is a beautiful and evocative work that captures the essence of the traditional vineyards of Florence, Italy.

Inspired by the character that bears the same name and biblical story

Methuselah

The artwork “Methuselah” by Caser Paredo is a stunning depiction of the biblical character of the same name, said to have lived for 969 years. The painting captures the image of an aged man with a wise and weathered face, who is depicted in a contemplative pose. The artist used skillfully rendered details and expressive brushstrokes to create a sense of depth and movement that draws the viewer into the painting. The muted and earthy tones give the painting an aged and contemplative feel, evoking the sense of a long and lived life.

The painting is 30×40 inches, giving the viewer a good sense of the subject’s presence and allowing them to appreciate the artist’s details and skill. Overall, “Methuselah” is a stunning work of art that captures the essence of the biblical character and brings to life the story of a long-lived life.

Envy

Envy is the showstopper piece of my abstract expressionist series “Our Hidden World: a Study of Human Emotions’ ‘. It is the largest of the 15 pieces in the series and made it’s debut at the St. George Art Museum in September 2022. It took 4 months to create! The frame is handmade and painted by the artist, required ladders and step stools of different sizes, large brushes and palette knives, about 10 tubes of acrylic and oil paint combined, and a whole jar of glass bead gel.

“Envy” was designed to have both a natural and geometric aesthetic, like a large emerald stalactite growing out of a dark cave. It was made to feel broody, glittering, calculating, and monstrous.
